Dad’s cooking is a disaster—can the family turn his “special meal” into something edible?

Uh oh, it’s Dad’s turn to cook! He always mixes up the most “interesting” dishes. From sneezing at mysterious green herbs to suspicious meatballs and sweet chili surprises, dinner quickly becomes a kitchen catastrophe. But with a little creativity (and a lot of tomato sauce), the family finds a way to fix the flavor and save the day. A laugh-out-loud tale of food, family, and finding the funny side when things go hilariously wrong. Perfect for picky eaters, cheeky kids, and anyone who’s ever survived a meal made with love—but not much skill!

Clare Stacey lives In Adelaide, South Australia, with her husband and two children. Clare has been a primary school teacher for almost 20 years and has always dreamed of sharing stories with others. Daddy Made Some Dinner is Clare’s first book, inspired by her family life, in which there is never a dull moment. Thank goodness for that!
